Protecting Children in Need of Care and Protection
From April 2014 to August 2023, Darpan served in a Nodal role for CHILDLINE Services 1098 in Hazaribag, with support from the CHILDLINE India Foundation. The programme focused on providing immediate services and protection to Children in Need of Care and Protection (CNCP) in Hazaribag. Darpan supported children facing difficult and vulnerable circumstances by facilitating immediate assistance, protection, referrals and coordination with relevant child protection stakeholders. During the programme period, 29,552 child protection cases were successfully resolved, strengthening support and protection mechanisms for vulnerable children in the district.
